Taft Jones, Jr., 59, Altus, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2019 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Friday, February 1, 2019 at Kincannon Funeral Home with Pastor Kenneth Broughton officiating. Services are under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Taft Jones, Jr was born July 9, 1959 to Taft and Hattye Lou (Griffen) Jones. He attended school in Frederick, Oklahoma. Taft worked many jobs in his life including, welding; farming and working for the Brewer family. He was of the Christian faith and enjoyed listening to music, fishing and spending time with family.
Taft is preceded in death by his father; brother, Alvin Jones and sister, Cathy Jones. He leaves behind his mother; partner, Mary Shepherd; two daughters, Tatianya Tiera Jones and Terina Millender; one son, Joseph Jones; one grandchild, Da' Mari Munn: two brothers, Dennis Jones and Marvin Jones; three sisters, Marilyn Williams, Wanda Jones and LaQueta Bester. Taft will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
