Theresa A. Sager

Theresa A Sager, 84, former Altus resident, passed away November 17, 2019 in Goodyear, Arizona. A funeral liturgy will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, November 23, 2019 at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church with Deacon Eulis Mobley officiating. Burial will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Theresa was born in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania to immigrant parents, Michael Brosky (Borowsky) and Paulina Starbin (Szczerbin) Brosky, from Galicia, Austria-Hungary. She attended Saint John the Evangelist Catholic School and graduated from Bellefonte High School. On October 20, 1956, Theresa became the wife of LaMoine M. Sager at Saint John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Bellefonte. Twenty years as a military family, found them living in several locations throughout the United States. Theresa finally retired from AAFES in Altus, Oklahoma. Later Theresa moved to Arizona.
She is survived by daughters, Debora A Mrstik and husband, David, Coleen R. Alexander and husband, Clark, and Lezlie S. Parker and husband, Scott; a son, Shawn C. Sager and wife, Wendy; six grandchildren, Kyle Alexander and wife, Jordan, Kasey Ulven and husband, Jonny, Lindsay Parker, Brandon Parker, Kaylyn Dinser and husband, Kyle, and Kallie Sager; and five great-grandchildren, Taylor, Brynn, Rylie, Beckett and Mila.
She was preceded in death by seven siblings, Mary Fetters, Catherine Caponi, John Brosky, George Brosky, Frank Brosky, Anna Mae Lambert and Helen Jabco.
