Victoria Linares Aguilar

Victoria L. Aguilar, 85, of Altus, Oklahoma passed away at her home with family at her side on Tuesday, January 11, 2022. Family visitation will be from 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM on Thursday, January 13, 2022 with funeral services at 2:00 PM Friday, January 14th at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Danny Toombs officiating. Burial will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the care of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Victoria was born on December 23, 1936 in Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico to J. Manuel and Margarita (Gonzalez) Linares. She married Audencio Aguilar on April 2, 1966 in southwest Oklahoma. Victoria enjoyed her time being a loving caretaker, playing dominoes with family, and gardening. She loved people and never knew a stranger. She loved dancing especially with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years; her parents; brothers, Antonio, Alfonso, Victor, and Eulalio Linares; and sisters, Angelina Meraz, Anita Gonzalez, Socorro Mora, Petra Linares and Thomasa Linares.

Victoria is survived by two daughters, Melinda Flynn and husband, Cliff and Alice Mills and husband, Gerald; one son, Daniel Aguilar; six grandchildren, Maria “Shine” Gonzalez and husband, Richard, Ashley Mavrogeorge and husband, Jason, Dennis Neel and wife, Ashley, Danny Neel, Billy Neel, and Richard Mills and wife, Misty; eleven great grandchildren, Sicily Gonzalez, Malea Parsons and husband, Ethan, Keegan Gonzalez, MaKenzie Mavrogeorge, Maddalena Mavrogeorge and Maia Mavrogeorge, Addison Neel, Tyler Neel, Blake Neel, Kylee Neel, and Reese Neel; four great-great grandchildren. Mia Fuentes, MaKaylee Fuentes, Mercy Neel, and Mary Lee Neel; sisters, Aurora Davila and Esperanza “Hope” Trujillo; and a host of other family and friends.
