Walter Dean Leaf, 33, Oklahoma City, passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2013. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, May 23, 2013 in the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Barry Cornish officiating. Burial will follow in the Warren Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home.
Dean was born on November 17, 1979 in Altus to Steven Dean Leaf and Brenda (Wright) Guthrie. He attended the Navajoe School and graduated in 1998 at the Caesar Rodney High School in Dover, Delaware. He married Lynn Longhair in Lawton, Oklahoma on October 15, 2003. He worked as a Golf Course Supervisor at the Hefner Golf Course in Oklahoma City. Dean was of the Baptist faith and loved golfing and spending time with family.
His grandparents, Janice Wilson, Robert Leaf, and Kenneth and Atha Mae Wright, preceded him in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Alexis and Rachel Leaf, both of Lawton, OK; his mother, Brenda Guthrie and husband, Tony, of Mustang, OK; his father, Steve Leaf and wife, Connie, of Elmer, OK; two brothers, Justin Jones and wife, Danyale, of Elgin, OK, and Brad Leaf and wife, Shelly, of Altus, OK; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
