Willie Mae Johnson

Willie Mae Johnson, 76, Altus, passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at the Plantation Village Nursing Home. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, August 10, 2019 at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Rev. Reginald Hamilton officiating. Services are under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Willie Mae Patterson was born on April 30, 1943 in Ladonia, TX to Samuel and Bennie Lee (Oliver) Patterson. She married TJ Johnson in Altus, Oklahoma on March 9, 1972. She worked as a homemaker for all of her life.

Her parents, a son, Charles Ray Edwards, four sister, Cherry L. Bean, Mary B. Williams, Sharon A. Brown and Deborah F. Patterson, three brothers, George A. Patterson, Milton L. Patterson and Earnest L. Patterson, and a great grandson, Xavier Jones-Edwards, preceded her in
death.

Survivors include her husband, TJ Johnson, of the home; nine children, Thomas Haley, Curtis Edwards, Ella Mae Edwards, Debbie Jo Laws, Mary Edwards, Cynthia Edwards, Vincent Johnson, Rosie Johnson and Timothy Edwards; two sisters, Alta M. Barr and Clara M. Patterson; four brothers, Willie S. Patterson (Francine), Edward Patterson, Vernon D. Patterson and Billy D. Patterson; 18 grandchildren; 51 great grandchildren; 14 great great children; and many other family members and friends. A special thank you to the staff at Plantation Village Nursing Center for the wonderful care you provided to her.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Friday, August 9, 2019 at the funeral home.
