Adelina Solomon was born on September 7, 1959, in Clinton, Oklahoma to Sabas and Paulita (Lopez) Solomon. She met the love of her life, Luis Ybarra, in the 1970’s and after 32 years together they officially wed on January 31, 2016 in Altus. Together they raised six beautiful children. Adelina worked for Duke Public Schools for many years, demonstrating her dedicated work ethic and care for others to students, staff, and parents alike. She later carried on that dedication at English Village Manor. Adelina loved to play bingo, cooking for all, cleaning her car, and staying dressed up; but her true joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren. Adelina was a faithful member of Strong Tower Ministries where she embodied their mission of spreading God’s Word and Love throughout the community.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Sabas and Paulita; siblings, Elodia Solomon, Raymond Solomon, Cruz Solomon, Gloria Maldonado, Victor Solomon, David Solomon, and Juanito Solomon; and great grandchild, Atticus Reyes.
