Barbara Kay
Cimino
September 7, 1942 – April 13, 2026
Kincannon Funeral Home
6:00 - 8:00 pm (Central time)
Barbara Kay (Hatton) Cimino was born on September 7, 1942, in Altus Oklahoma to Carl N. and Iva Ola (Drury) Hatton. She was raised in Altus, where she attended school and proudly graduated from Altus High School.
IIn 1969, she made the move to Fort Worth, Texas, where she owned Stewart’s Florists. She later managed H.S. Floral that supplied flowers for Sam’s Club.
Barbara was a giving and faithful woman who loved the Lord and faithfully tithed to the First Baptist Church. If there was a charity in need, you could be sure Barbara had offered her support at least once.
Her family remembers her as someone who was always smiling, bringing warmth and kindness wherever she went. She faithfully attended the Drury family reunion each year, cherishing the time spent with loved ones.
Barbara also had a love for travel and enjoyed exploring the United States with her mother, creating many treasured memories along the way. In her quieter moments, she found joy in simple pleasures like playing dominos, cards, and Chinese checkers with family and friends.
Barbara passed peacefully from this life at her home on April 13, 2026, at the age of 83. She was preceded in death by her parents.
She leaves behind a legacy of love in her children: her sons; Robert Cimino and Tony Cimino, and her daughter, Lora Shwengler. She is also survived by her brothers; John Hatton and Carl Hatton, along with many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will cherish her memory always.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at Kincannon Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 17, 2026, at Boggy Cemetery in Olustee, with Pastor Doug Altom officiating.
