Criselda Reyes Martinez, 67, passed away on Monday, September 3, 2018 at her home in Altus. Funeral services have been scheduled for 6:00 PM Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel and 10:00 AM Thursday, September 6, 2018 at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Freddie Reyes officiating. Burial will follow at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Criselda Reyes was born on January 31, 1951 to Roman and Janie (Togiles) Reyes in Lubbock, Texas. Criselda and Emanuel Martinez were united in marriage on June 26, 1992 in Robstown, Texas. She was a retired sales clerk, working for Wal-Mart for many years. She enjoyed sewing, reading, shopping, and gardening. Her true love was her family, especially her grandchildren, she never tired of their company.
She is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Reuben, Henry and Ray Reyes; and a sister, Julie Reyes.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Manuel, of the home; daughters, Carolyn Boyce, Sylvia Vargas, Dianne Cantu, Christina Cantu, Lori Hunt and Jessica Vargas; one son, Marcos Vargas, Jr.; grandchildren, Shane Boyce, II, Ryan Boyce, Ericka Claudrick, Isaac Cano, Nathan Cantu, Jacob Cantu, Kristen Cantu, Justleigh Luna, Pedro Fierro, II, Damian Fierro, Faith Vargas, Lexy Vargas, Alec Vargas, Ciara Ornelas, Cassandra Vargas and Daniel Esquivel, II; brothers and sisters, Freddie Reyes, Manuel Reyes, Bobby Reyes, Gloria Reyes, Mary Castor and Olivia Cantu; as well as a host of other family and friends.
