Curtis Frysinger, 78, Headrick, Oklahoma, passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family.

Celebration of Life services for Curtis Frysinger will be held on Monday, October 30, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the Kincannon Memorial Chapel. Cremation Arrangements are under the care of Kincannon Funeral Home.

Curtis Wayne Frysinger was born on April 6, 1945 in Tipton, Oklahoma to his parents Cameron Frysinger and Ida “Ted” (Bennett) Frysinger.  Curtis was raised in Snyder, Oklahoma where he was a proud graduate with the Class of 1963 from Snyder High School.  After high school, he served his country in the United States Army National Guard where he received an honorable discharge as well as numerous awards and decorations.  On December 28, 1981 Curtis married Faye Monks in Vernon, Texas and they enjoyed almost 42 years of marriage together.  Curtis and Faye resided in Del City, Oklahoma where he worked as an exterminator for ECO-LABs. They moved back to Southwest Oklahoma and resided in Snyder, later they settled in Headrick.  Curtis worked in housekeeping for the Ayers Nursing Home and at Jackson County Memorial Hospital.  He had a great work ethic and took pride in his work, instilling that pride in his children.  He enjoyed riding and tinkering on his motorcycles and being outside working on his lawn.  Curtis loved spending time with his family and grandchildren, and he will be missed very much.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cameron and Ted Frysinger; and two sisters, Nita Holder and Nancy Frysinger.  Curtis is survived by his wife, Faye Frysinger of their home in Headrick, Oklahoma; two daughters, Lacey Knox and husband, Curtis Smith of Lawton, Oklahoma and Stacy Mendoza and husband, Carlos of Headrick; one brother, C. H. Frysinger; three sisters, Peggy Sheffield and husband, Charles of Greenville, Texas, Joyce Roberson of Canton, Georgia, and Mary Perry and husband, Harold, of Roosevelt, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, Nathan Long and wife, DeAnna, Jordan Berry and husband, Trevor, Madison Knox, Kelly Knox, Lisa Knox, Skylar Smith, and Natalie Mendoza; and two great-grandchildren, Evelyn Burdine and Oliver Long.
