Deborah Shott, 71, resident of Claremore, Oklahoma and former resident of Tulsa went to be with the Lord on May 5, 2024, in Altus. A graveside service is scheduled at Fort Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, Oklahoma with full military honors rendered by the United States Air Force. Arrangements are under the care of Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service. 

 

Deborah Coy Honeywell was born on October 26, 1952, to Catherine (Winscott) Spracklin and Roy Honeywell in Tazewell, Tennessee. She grew up in Knoxville, Tennessee with her brothers where they shared many adventures on “Prince” the pony. In January of 1977, she joined the United States Air Force. Deborah enjoyed being stationed in Germany during her military career.  During her military career Deborah was stationed in Indiana, Missouri, Texas, and Tennessee. Above all Oklahoma was her favorite duty station because her family resides here. After retiring from the Air Force in 1986, she attended and graduated from Oklahoma State in Tulsa with a bachelor’s degree. Deborah enjoyed traveling, spending time with her dogs, and especially shopping. During her last days, she enjoyed having the Bible read to her. She cherished spending time with her family and friends. 

 

She is survived by her daughter, Katrina Poulin; brothers, John Honeywell, David Honeywell, and Peter Honeywell; sisters, Lola Honeywell and Tammy Deramo; grandchildren, Becca Cowart and husband, Barrett Cowart and Gabby Poulin; and great-grandchildren, Abby and Sutton Cowart. Debrorah was preceded in death by her mother, Catherine Spracklin; father, Roy Honeywell; step – father, Harold Spracklin; brother, Roy Honeywell, Jr., Euguene Honeywell, Ray Breeden, Steve Honeywell, and Douglas Honeywell. She will be missed by her friends at the Claremore Veteran Center. She will be remembered and will be loved by her family.
