Epifania Serrano Lopez

Epifania Serrano Lopez, 87, of Altus, Oklahoma, passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2024. Rosary Services will be from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Wednesday, May 22nd, at Kincannon Funeral Home. Services will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 23rd, in the Memorial Chapel. Burial will immediately follow at the Altus City Cemetery under the care of Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Epifania Serrano Lopez was born on December 14, 1936, in Mexico to Fransisco Serrano and Lugarda Lopez. She married Taide Castrejon in 1957, and together they raised one daughter and six sons. Epifania was a homemaker all her life, extending her love for cooking to younger generations. She was a devout Mexican Catholic. Epifania loved spending time with her children and especially her grandchildren.

Her husband, Taide; and parents, Fransisco and Lugarda preceded her in death. Epifania’s memory and love for her family will live on in her daughter, Evelia Castrejon and husband, Gabriel Sotelo; sons, Jaime Castrejon and wife, Erika, Raul Castrejon and wife, Lordes Cruz, Fransisco Castrejon and wife, Adela, Rojelio Castrejon and wife, Martha, Armando Castrejon and wife, Guadalupe, and Pedro Castrejon; and a host of beloved grandchildren.

Epifania Serrano López, 87, de Altus, Oklahoma, falleció el Domingo, Mayo 19 del 2024.  El Servicio de Rosario será de las 6:00-8:00 pm el Miércoles, Mayo 22, en la Casa Funeraria Kincannon.   El servicio será a las 2:00 pm  el Jueves, Mayo 23, en la Capilla Conmemorativa.  Entierro será inmediatamente después en el Cementerio de la Cuidad de Altus bajo el cuidado de la Casa Funeraria y Servicio de Cremación Kincannon. 

Epifania Serrano López nació Diciembre 14, 1936, en México, de Fransisco Serrano y Lugarda López.  Se casó con Taide Castrejón  en el año 1957, y juntos crearon a una hija y seis hijos. Epifania fue ama de casa toda su vida, extendiendo su amor de cocinar a las generaciones más jóvenes. Ella era una devota Católica Mexicana.  Epifania amaba pasar tiempo con sus hijos y especialmente con sus nietos.   

Su esposo, Taide,  y sus padres, Fransisco y Lugarda, la precedieron en muerte. La memoria de Epifania y su amor por su familia seguirá en su hija, Evelia Castrejón y su esposo, Gabriel Sotelo; en sus hijos, Jaime Castrejón y su esposa, Erika, Raul Castrejón y sus esposa, Lordes Cruz, Francisco Castrejón y su esposa, Adela, Rojelio Castrejón y su esposa, Martha, Armando Castrejón y su esposa, Guadalupe, y Pedro Castrejón; y un anfitrión de nietos y nietas.
