Helen Pearl Allen

Helen Pearl Allen, 69, passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at Comanche County Memorial Hospital. Graveside services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, September 11, 2010 at the Altus City Cemetery with Reverend Boyd Whitehead officiating. Services are under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home. Helen was born July 18, 1941 to Richard L. and Iona P. (Burris) Hatfield at Hobart, Oklahoma. She graduated from Altus High School in 1959. She married Floyd E. Allen, Sr. on March 22, 1958 at Childress, Texas. Helen enjoyed sewing, quilting, handcrafts, scrapbooking and most of all spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Floyd and sister, Mary Dittmer. She is survived by two daughters; Regina Ross and husband Warren of Altus, OK, Sabrina VonWert of Altus, OK; son, Floyd Allen Jr. and wife Brenda of Altus, OK; one sister, Carol Jackson, of Bellview, NE; nine grandchildren, Michael VonWert and wife Melissa; Tiffany Clark and husband Greg; Jenna Thornton and husband Chad; Tara Gumas and husband James; Renae Ross; Brandie Allen; Amanda Larance; Teresa Larance and Brittanie Allen; eight great-grandchildren, Jason VonWert; Haley VonWert; Jolee VonWert; Gabriel Gumas; Mason Thornton; Serenity Gonzales; Makenzie Vasquez; Daitrion Hodge, Lexie Clark and many friends. The Allen family will greet friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Friday, September 10, 2010 at Kincannon Funeral Home.
