Karn Russell Billingsley, 74, passed away peacefully at his home, with his devoted wife by his side, on Saturday evening, July 25, 2026.

Russ was born on June 27, 1952, in Detroit, Michigan. He believed in working hard and never letting pride get in the way of what truly mattered. Russ never met a stranger and loved to talk, always ready to strike up a conversation and make a new friend wherever he went.

Russ worked at a number of jobs, including 17 years with the City of Altus. He took pride in his work and enjoyed spending his days outdoors serving his community.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rudy E. and Geni Billingsley. Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Mary; stepdaughter, Stormy Tuttle; grandson, Jasper Lee; and sisters, Hiede Martensen and Marlyn Standifer.
