Kathy Bauman was born September 10, 1968 in Erie, Pennsylvania to John and Mary (maiden name) Bauman. She graduated from Technical Memorial High School in Erie, Pennsylvania with the Class of 1988. Kathy had worked several other jobs before she landed her “hobby” job of grooming horses. She loved animals and working around horses. She was of the Christian faith; enjoyed animals and horses; relaxed sewing and cooking for her family; enjoyed watching her son race cars, play baseball and snowboarding; and especially loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her son, Logan Morschhauser and fiancé, Rosetta Cook; her granddaughter, Hadley Morschhauser; her grandson, Bryson Cook; three siblings, Kirsten Kunselman; John Bauman and wife, Priscilla; and Carrie Kaziska and husband, Michael; nieces and nephews, Andrew, Gillian, Elizabeth, Mariah and George; her pet cats, Karma and Kaz; many friends and associates in the race horse industry around the country.
