Kenneth Holt was born in Pinelawn, New York, on October 11, 1938, to Maynard and Muriel Hulse Holt. After graduating from Jeffersonville High School in Jeffersonville, New York, Kenneth joined the United States Air Force and served his country faithfully from 1958 to 1962. During his military career he met the love of his life, Roberta Lois Harrod, and they were united in marriage on January 5, 1961, in Altus, Oklahoma. They made their forever home on the farm in Blair. Through their union two children were born, Debbie and Kenny Holt.

During his life Kenneth enjoyed spending time on his farm, raising cattle, horses, and family. He worked diligently for AT&T for 33 years retiring in 1995. Later in life he and Roberta fell in love with travelling everywhere. They loved touring the country in their motor home. One of his favorite things was going to the Racetrack. Kenneth was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Southwestern Bell Pioneers. He wasn’t just an amazing father; he was an incredible human being. His love, wisdom, and strength continue to guide his children and the memory he left is a source of comfort and inspiration. Even though he is gone his spirit lives on in the lives of those he touched. Kenneth and Roberta had a beautiful 57 years together before her passing in 2018. His legacy will live on in the hearts of his family.

Kenneth passed away peacefully at his residence in Blair on May 10, 2025, at the age of 86. Kenneth was preceded in death by his loving wife, Roberta Lois Holt; and both of his parents, Maynard and Muriel Hulse Holt. Left to honor his memory is his daughter, Debbie Holt and husband, Tommy of Blair and son, Kenny Holt and wife, Lori of Altus; sister, Joan Clark of Florida; five grandchildren, Kendall Holt and wife, Kim of Altus, Jessica Miranda and husband, Eric of Duke, Delana Garcia of Blair, Taylor Herbert and husband, Uriel of Weatherford, and Tyler Abway and wife, Priscilla of Altus; eleven great-grandchildren, Mady, Monty, Caleb, Aubrey, Mason, Acacia, Roewyn, Paisley, Rylee, Macy, and Audrey; one special niece, Terry Dulian and husband, Pat; and bonus daughter, Michelle Holt.
