Burial
Lois C. Reynolds was born on July 20, 1939, in Chilhowie, Virginia, to George and Greathel (Osborne) Combs. She attended Bel Air High School in Maryland, graduating from the Class of 1957. On November 1, 1957, she married the love of her life, Kenneth Reynolds, whom she lovingly endeared as “Kenny”, at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Churchville, Maryland. Their loving marriage was blessed with three children: Cindy, Robert “Bobby”, and Kenneth “George”.
Lois was an avid collector who took great joy in her collections of cookie jars and teapots. She loved spending time at auctions and browsing antique shops, and for a time even owned an antique store of her own. She also worked as an insurance agent, where she enjoyed helping others and building lasting relationships within her community. Some of her happiest moments were spent traveling with her beloved husband, Kenneth “Kenny”. Her family also fondly remembers her as a wonderful cook who loved gathering her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren around her and spending time together.
Lois went to be with the Lord on March 14, 2026, at the age of 86. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Robert “Bobby” Reynolds; her parents, George and Greathel Combs; and her siblings, Ruby Ewing, Helen Lockard, Floyd Alfred “Bud” Combs, Judy Swingler, Bradley Combs, Jerry Combs, and Billie Jean Bailey.
Lois’ loving memory will live on in her devoted husband, Kenneth “Kenny”; her children, Cindy Reynolds-Lansdale and Kenneth “George” Reynolds; her siblings, Nancy Gilbert, Suzie Bellmyer, and David Combs; her sister-in-law, Christina Combs; her cherished grandchildren, Elliott Rodda, Kenna Lea Lansdale-Porter, Tiffany Reynolds-Taylor, and Kenneth S. Reynolds; and her beloved great-grandchildren, Gage and Eric Lansdale, Eli and Micah Poole, and Garrett and Madison Taylor. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will treasure her memory.
The family will formally greet friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Tuesday, March 17, 2026. Services are scheduled for 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 18th, in the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Pastor Wendie Jencks-Wilson officiating. Lois will be buried next to her adored son, Robert “Bobby” Reynolds at the Altus City Cemetery.
