Martin Granados, 60, former resident of Eldorado, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully with siblings by his side on Friday, July 25, 2025. Graveside Inurnment Services will be at the Eldorado Cemetery at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 2nd.
Martin was born on February 4, 1965, in Soledad, California to Francisco and Maria Luisa (Rodriguez) Granados. One of seven children, Martin grew up in a lively and loving household where there was never a dull moment. Whether working or playing in the fields alongside his siblings, Martin learned at a young age that family is the foundation of a meaningful life – a source of strength, laughter, and steadfast support. That deep-rooted love for family stayed with him throughout his life and shaped the man he became.
After graduating from Wellington High School, Martin went on to serve his country with pride as a member of the Army National Guard for over 12 years. Throughout his life, he held various jobs, including management positions at Hutch's and later at Bar-S in Altus, Oklahoma.
Martin had a passion for grilling and cooking, and he found great joy in riding his motorcycle and fishing. But above all, he cherished spending time with his family, especially when everyone was gathered together, sharing stories and laughter over a good beer.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Maria Granados; brothers, Carlos Granados and Joaquin Granados; and his nephew, Bryan Shuler.
Martin’s legacy of love for family lives on in his father, Francisco Granados; siblings, Dee Canales, Juan Granados, Frank Granados III and wife, Claudia, Jose Luis Granados, Rebecca Kemp and husband, Brian, and Rosario Posado; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and many cherished friends.
