Mary Jane Jones

Mary Jane Jones, 70, longtime resident of Altus, Oklahoma, passed away in Fort Worth, Texas on Thursday, August 8th. A Memorial Service is scheduled for 10:00 AM on Tuesday, August 13th, at the Altus Church of God with Pastor Earnest Everman officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Mary Jane Meeks was born on September 28, 1953, in Phoenix, Arizona to Lesley Ted Meeks and Mary Virginia (Carpenter) Doyle. She married her true love, David Keith Jones, on June 23, 1972, in Altus. Together they raised their children, Sherry and David. Mary was a homemaker, taking pride in raising her children and was an excellent upholster. She enjoyed gardening, crafting, and playing BINGO. 

Mary is survived by her husband of 52 years, David; daughter, Sherry McFarland and husband, Robert; son, David Keith Jones, II; grandchildren, Ashley Fowler and husband, Kelby, Brittany Rios and husband, David, Gage Jones and fiancé, Caitlin Dufour, Tyler Jones and wife, Erica, and Gavin Jones and fiancé, Raney Gilreath; great grandchildren, Kelton, Kyzen, and Kannon Fowler, Dawson Rios, Jay Gamble, Addilyn Jones, and Luca Jones.
