Ralph ‘Eugene’ Laws, 62, Oklahoma City, passed away on Friday, June 2, 2023. Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 9, 2023 at the Altus City Cemetery with Apostle Robert Jackson officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Ralph ‘Eugene’ Laws was born on January 7, 1961 in Levelland, Texas to James Laws, Jr. and Birdie Faye (Miller) Laws. Eugene married Sharon Branch on November 4, 1981 in Altus. They spent time in Altus before making their home in Oklahoma City. Eugene liked to stay busy and viewed work more as a hobby than a job. He worked at Crystal Place Assisted Living as the Assistant Dietary Manager and was working in the dietary department at Meadowlake Estates Nursing Center at the time of his death. Eugene was known for always helping others. He enjoyed cooking, dancing, serving the Lord, hanging out with friends and family, and he especially enjoyed opportunities to get dressed up.

His parents, James and Birdie; two brothers, Robert Lee and James Henry Laws; and sister, Velma Joyce Laws preceded him in death. Those left to honor Eugene’s memory are his wife of the home, Sharon; stepmother, Loretta Laws; siblings, Billie Laws, Joe Laws, Jesse Laws, Sandra Powell, and Cathy Valentine; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
