Ramiro Bara

Ramiro Bara, 52, Altus, passed away on Monday, July 5, 2010 at his home. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, July 8, 2010 at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Roy and Lupe Plata, and Pastor Jesse Lopez officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home. Ramiro was born on May 11, 1958 in Muleshoe, Texas to Moses and Carolina (Rosas) Bara. He was a bodywork technician and painted cars for Revilla’s and J&N Frame and Body. He loved cars, gardening, the OU Sooners and the Philadelphia Eagles. He was a member of Altus Christian Fellowship. The family is very thankful for the loving care given to him from the Indian Territory Home Health and Hospice, especially Mary Bledsoe. His father, Moses Bara, and a brother, Freddy Plata, preceded him in death. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Rachael Currence and Brian of Springdale, Arkansas; a son and daughter-in-law, Jeremy Bara and Candace of Springdale, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Hailey and Colby Currence, and Ramiro Bara; his mother, Carolina Bara of Altus, Oklahoma; five sisters, Erma Fortenberry and husband, Tim, of Altus, Eva Reyes of Arlington, Texas, Alma Briscoe and husband, Tim, of Fort Drum, New York, Rosalinda Solomon and husband, Paul, of Altus, and Elsa Garcia and husband, Perfecto, of Altus; two brothers, Roy Plata and wife, Lupe, of Altus, and David Bara and wife, Mary Lou, of Altus; and a special friend, Natalie Castillo of Altus, OK.
