Eldorado

Emblem

Raymond Earl Green was born on September 3, 1948, in Altus, Oklahoma, to Glen B. and Thelma “Tuffy” (Bussey) Green. After graduating high school, he proudly joined the United States Army, faithfully serving the country he so deeply loved.

Raymond was never one to sit still for long. Gifted with his hands, he was a master carpenter and welder. His career led him into steel construction and metal fabrication, where his skills truly shined. Beyond work, he poured his passion into restoring old tractors—especially the Fordson 8N and 9N models—and was well known for his ability to rebuild farming equipment to like-new condition, specializing in plow restoration.

An avid outdoorsman, Raymond found joy in fishing, hunting, trapping, and camping. Nature was his refuge, and he embraced it with enthusiasm and expertise.

Raymond passed away peacefully at his home in Eldorado on Friday, April 18, 2025, at the age of 76.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Tuffy Green; and his brother, Glen Douglas Green. Raymond’s memory will live on through his life partner of nearly 24 years, Barbara Ishmael; his son, Montgomery Wesley Green; grandson, Dustin Green; siblings, Larry Green and Carolyn Marriott; nieces, Kenda Green and her children, Xavier, Lizzy, and Trent, and Cassey Howe and her husband, Logan, and their children, Tenley and Kase; along with a host of extended family members and dear friends.

A Celebration of Life is scheduled for 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 17th at the Eldorado Community Center. Online tributes may be made at www.kincannonfuneralhome.com.
