Becky Rollins, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at the age of 81. She was born on August 4, 1944, in Amarillo, Texas. Becky spent her life pouring out love and joy to everyone God placed in her path.
In 1970, Becky married the love of her life, Tom Rollins, in Wichita Falls, Texas. Together, they built a life centered on faith, family, and adventure. They raised three children: Catherine, Stephanie, and Christopher. Their life together took them around the world, living in places such as Wichita Falls and Del Rio, Texas; England; Panama City, Florida; Las Vegas; and Altus, Oklahoma. No matter where she lived, Becky made every place feel like home. She was a devoted wife and mother who took immense pride in raising her family, which later included grandchildren, Matthew, Rebecca, Nicholas, and Daniel and great-grandbabies, Katie Grace and Luke.
The most important calling of Becky’s life was raising children. Her family was her greatest joy and proudest legacy. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandbabies fiercely and faithfully, even as they lived around the world. Distance never lessened her devotion; it only led to more travel, as she explored Italy, Germany, France, and even Egypt. Becky made each family member feel deeply known, cherished, and supported. Her impact extended far beyond her family. She spent many years volunteering at her children’s schools and at church. Later in life, she worked at Grace Daycare for 17 years, a place she absolutely loved, where countless children were shaped by her kindness, patience, and encouragement.
A faithful servant of Christ, Becky was an active member of Grace United Methodist Church. She taught Sunday School and Children’s Church, worked in the nursery, participated in Vacation Bible School, and was a member of United Women of Faith. If the church needed her, she was there. Her life reflected her faith through service, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to loving others well.
Becky will be remembered for her caring heart, joyful spirit, perky energy, and the way she made people feel safe, seen, and loved. As her health declined, she continued to share her love by sending cards to family and friends. One of her favorite pastimes was reading, and as she lost her sight, she especially enjoyed listening to audiobooks, particularly those by James Patterson. She also had a deep love for music and dancing, and her joy was contagious—whether listening to her favorite ’60s music like Aretha Franklin or singing along to Pentatonix’s Christmas songs. Music brought her life, and she brought life wherever she went.
Her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched—children she nurtured, families she supported, and loved ones who will carry her love forward. Becky is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Tom; children, Stephanie Borghini and husband, Nicola and Chris Rollins and wife, Maria; grandchildren, Matthew Miller and wife, Elizabeth, Rebecca Borghini, Nick Borghini, and Daniel Rollins; great-grandchildren, Katie Grace Miller and Luke Miller; sister, Debbie Arthur; and her Grace United Methodist Church family. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Catherine Bowers; and her parents, William and Billie Rue.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for 10:00 AM on Thursday, January 15th at Grace United Methodist Church with Pastor Wendie Jencks-Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Hope Cemetery in Henrietta, Texas.
