Robin Renee Lennox

Robin Renee Lennox, 65, Lawton, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at the Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Monday, January 30, 2023 in the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Rev. Doug Altom officiating. Services and cremation are under the care of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Robin Renee Osburn was born on July 12, 1957 in Altus, Oklahoma to Frank and Wilma Lee (Banks) Osburn. She grew up in Altus and attended Altus schools. She married Jimmy Carney in Altus in June of 1973. To this union two children were born, Kit and Jimmy, Jr. Robin worked at Altus Air Force Base for 25 years before retiring. She worked mainly as a bookkeeper for civil service and the Department of Defense. Robin was a member of the First Baptist Church of Altus and then the First Baptist Church of Duke. She enjoyed shopping, junking and going to the casino. Her greatest treasure was her grandchildren. She hardly ever missed watching them at their sporting events or school functions. She also loved spending time with her baby, Nellie.

Her parents preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughter, Kit Garcia and husband, Perfecto, Jr.; a son, Jimmy “Bo” Carney, Jr. and daughter-in-love, Amber St. John; four grandchildren, Tyler Garcia and fiancée, Bethany Hines, Trey Garcia, and Mila and Zaydn Barker; and three sisters-in-love, Mona Wheeler and husband, Jon, Shawna Cartwright, and Lynn Coots.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 29, 2023 from 1:00 – 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
