Ruth Moore, 88, Altus, passed away on Friday, June 2, 2023 at the English Village Manor. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 6, 2023 in the Kincannon Memorial chapel with Rev. Jason Pickering officiating. Burial will follow in the Victory Cemetery, West of Altus, under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Ruth (Huddleston) Moore was born on August 4, 1934 in Altus, Oklahoma to John W. and Edith (Richardson) Huddleston. She grew up in the Elmer area and graduated from Southside School. Her and Ike J. Moore were married for over 50 years before his passing. Ruth worked as a homemaker for most of her life and was a member of the Church of God. She had many talents and enjoyed sewing.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband; parents; two brothers, Donald and Bobby Huddleston; and a sister, Flo Mae Wilson.
Survivors include her three children, Johnnie Lee Moore, Linda C. Moore, and Janet Niemi and husband, Daniel; two grandsons, Matthew S. Niemi and Timothy C.A. Niemi; a brother, Charles Huddleston; and many nieces and nephews.
