Terri Sue Caton, of Warren, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at Magnolia Creek Skilled Nursing and Therapy in Altus on Wednesday, July 23, 2025—just 27 days shy of her 70th birthday.
Born on August 19, 1955, in Lawton, Terri was one of four children of Donald and Joyce (Barton) Collier. She grew up in Lawton, where she graduated and began building a life rooted in creativity, kindness, and service to others.
Terri had a love for sewing and quilting, often creating thoughtful handmade blankets that brought comfort to those around her. She also enjoyed coloring daily, finding joy and relaxation in her artwork.
For over 20 years, Terri enriched the lives of countless young people as a devoted cook and school bus driver at Navajo Public Schools. With a warm smile and a servant’s heart, she nourished and safely transported generations of students across Southwest Oklahoma—leaving a lasting imprint on every child she served.
Her generous spirit and care for others will live on in her children, Mike Caton and wife, Jamie (OKC) and Thomas Caton Jr. and wife, Cindy (Blair); sister, Jerri Lynn Collier; sister-in-law, Lorie (Collier) Hodge; brother, Tommy Joe Collier and wife, Marla; grandchildren Ally Caton (Altus), Austin Caton (Blair), Lola Feliciano (Blair), and Titus Caton (OKC); and many other family members and friends. Her parents, Donald and Joyce; brother, Johnny Collier; and daughter, Kelly Caton preceded her in death.
A memorial service to honor Terri's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 4, 2025, at the Warren Community Center with Eric Easter officiating. Inurnment will follow immediately at the Warren Cemetery.
