Tomasa Solano

Tomasa Solano, 91, Vernon, Texas, passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2010. Graveside services have been set for 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 17, 2010 at the Hess Cemetery, Jackson County, Oklahoma. A rosary will be held Friday evening at 7:00 PM at Kincannon Funeral Home in Altus, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home @ 580-482-1800. Tomasa Patlan was born to Roman and Francisca (Rios) Patlan in Mexico on March 19, 1919. She married Jesus Solano in Martindale, Texas on October 21, 1945. She was a homemaker and loved to garden, cook, knit and crochet. Tomasa was a member of the Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by her husband in 1972, her parents, three brothers, Luis Patlan, Benito Patlan and Victor Patlan, and three sisters, Jososa Calderon, Benita DeLeon and Angelita Martinez. She is survived by a son, Paul Solano, and a sister, Rosario Patlan, both of Vernon, TX. and several nieces and nephews.
