William John Albon

William John Albon, known to family and friends as John, was born on August 14, 1957, at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida, to William Frederick Albon and Treva Joyce Baker.

John spent much of his life dedicated to caring for others through his work at English Village Nursing Home and Park Lane Manor Nursing Home.

Outside of work, John found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid fisherman who loved the peace and thrill of the water. He also had a passion for race car driving and spent many exciting days behind the wheel at Quartz Mountain Speedway.

John passed away on June 19, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Frederick Albon and Treva Joyce Baker. He is survived by his sisters, Drucilla Aultman and Cheryl Powell; and by his nephews, James Albon and Dale Tedford. John’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

The family invites friends and loved ones to celebrate his life and share memories in honor of the man he was and the joy he brought to others. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, July 21, 2025, in the Kincannon Memorial Chapel. Inurnment will immediately follow at the Blair Cemetery.
