Yee Seng

Yee Seng Lim, 73, Altus, passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Friday, July 30, 2010 at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel. Cremation will follow under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home. Mr. Lim was born on January 11, 1937 in Cambodia to Chounn Lim and Ma Hor. As a young boy, he grew up in the Buddhist Temple in their village. From time to time, they would go out into the village and treat people for their illnesses. He married Loum Tom in Cambodia in 1968. He was a member of the Buddhist Temple in Colorado. He liked working on cars, fishing and collecting medicine from trees and roots. He loved the peace and quiet. Survivors include his wife, Loum Tom of the home; three daughters, Somalee Lim and husband, Ny Sirk, of Altus, Oklahoma, Somalay Lim and husband, Rommel Soriano, of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Dina Lim of Colorado; three sons, James Lim and wife, Suzie Prop, of Fresno, California, and Sote Lim and Sarom Lim, both of Altus, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Elizabeth Sirk, Cody Sirk, Brandon Lim, Jesse Lim and Cayden Soriano; his mother, Ma Hor of California; four brothers, Seng Leng Lim and Seng Poa Lim, both of Thailand, Seng Hu Lim of California, and Seng Lee Lim of Canada; and two sisters, Seng Hor Lim and Seng Hoi Lim, both of California. The family would like to thank all the friends and family for their support.
